Western China Persecution if it happened here
- The Hispanic population is 15 million which is more than half of all residents. For the purpose of this story, the assumption is that all 15 million Hispanics are US citizens. The Federal government has determined that this group of people is dangerous.
- DNA tests are required of the entire Hispanic population residing in California.
- Hispanics’ cars are required to have GPS installed to track movements.
- Because of the propensity for incidents to happen, police stations are erected literally every ¼ mile throughout every city.
- Every grocery store, every mall, and every bank has been equipped with metal detectors and bag scanners. All residents, Hispanic or not, must scan their driver’s license/ID card to secure entry.
- Parks are now blockaded behind fences with coiled razor wire. As are gas stations. Without an ID, one cannot buy gas.
- Because of the possibility that some Hispanics may have items on their phones that are against the values of the state, police roam the streets in groups of three or four, armed with cell-phone scanners. They randomly scan the contents of one’s phone to make sure everything is compliant. No Skype, no Facebook, no Instagram allowed, and certainly no videos or written information that would dare say anything negative about the government.
- For those unemployed, they are required to go to flag raising ceremonies every day of the week. Whether or not they speak English, they must memorize the country creed and national anthem in English, or face arrest.
- House searches are expected. No crucifixes are allowed in the house. No Spanish language items are permitted. No Mexican food is allowed in anyone’s homes. No Bibles are permitted anywhere. Anyone caught out of compliance can expect arrest, with no trial granted.
- Government workers are assigned to live with families for a week…staying in their homes…to watch what phone calls the Hispanics receive and who comes to visit them.
- Gatherings of believers are prohibited except in state sanctioned places of worship which less and less resemble houses of worship and more and more resemble state indoctrination centers.
- Young Hispanic men, especially, are routinely rounded up and sent to education centers. No forewarning is given. Family members disappear and the government even gives the police a quota, in some cities, to arrest 40% of a town’s inhabitants. Sometimes they are released after 3 days, some after a month, some several months later, and some have not been heard from again.
- Schools are being given the responsibility to house children when relatives have been placed in education camps when no adults are left in the household to care for them.
- In the education camps, the adult “students” are given three pieces of bread a day, with water. They can pay $50 - $100 a month to get some vegetables and a bit of meat thrown in.
- The rest of the population sees the danger and trouble that the Hispanics cause and so they begin firing all Hispanic workers. Government workers who are in charge of residential areas begin to weed out Hispanics from their jurisdictions.
- All Hispanics are required to turn in their passports lest some try to flee.
- Hispanics from California, who have gone abroad for study are being called back. If they fear coming back, the lives of their loved ones within California are threatened, so they return.
- Hispanics must forsake their long tradition of Catholic heritage and instead confess that without the government’s help they would have died long ago.
- Checkpoints are set up between cities and if using public transportation, everyone must get off the bus or train, scan their IDs, go through metal detectors, and scan their bags. Every car is scrutinized at the checkpoints, and, if questionable, the car must be parked and everyone pile out and go through the metal detectors, scan their IDs and scan their bags.
- Except in the richest neighborhoods the trunks of every vehicle is inspected when returning home.
- Whenever dignitaries visit DC or during national holidays, all road traffic in and out of California is halted.
- Some businesses in the rest of the country are refusing to deliver products to California because of all the trouble.
- All residents of California are expected to tell the government if they notice any suspicious activities among neighbors or relatives. If Hispanics are dressing too religiously, or attending mass too often, they are to be reported.
- The traditional Latin greeting is forbidden, even though practiced among Catholics throughout the world.
- Hispanic restaurants must no longer advertise that their food is in keeping with their tradition. Old signs with such information must remove the language that denotes this specialty.
- Though Hispanics (for our story) do not drink alcohol, alcohol must now be served in their restaurants.
- Because surveillance is so essential to protect California from the Hispanic population, six times the previous police force has been hired to ensure compliance.
- Armored personnel carriers (resembling tanks) roam through cities daily. In the central squares, all other activity must stop.
- Because knives of any kind are considered dangerous, new knives sold for kitchen use are now given size limitations and are etched with QR codes. When scanned they reveal the personal details of the owner of the kitchen knife.
- Security cameras are everywhere and CA (for our story) has the most advanced facial recognition on the planet. Retinol scans are also being tested.
The Hispanics described in this story are really Muslim Uyghurs in western China. And all of this is literally happening right now. The main difference between this and the persecuted Jews in Nazi Germany is that these concentration camps are not being used to exterminate people, yet.
Let’s pray that our heart will break for this injustice, even as God’s heart breaks for these lost people who need His love.
Next week we’ll pray for the Christians working and residing there.
We pray:
- For hearts of compassion for these people, even as your heart is breaking for them in their suffering.
- They are becoming more entrenched in their wrong beliefs about You due to circling the wagons in their persecution.
- That children and families are losing parents, brothers, sisters, loved ones in harsh concentration camps.
- Witness for Christ is being stamped out in the region
- May your bride, the church, be known around the world as people who stand up against such tyranny.
- May your love be seen somehow in this place and your will be done.
- May you change the hearts and minds of this repressive government in China
